Representing the landscape 250 years after John Constable

An exhibition paying tribute to the 18th-century English painter John Constable through old landscape paintings from the collections of the City of Namur and the work of five contemporary artists: Anne Liebhaberg, Anne Marie Finné, Michel Peetz, Philippe Tasiaux and Simon Delneuville.

Several events will be organised to accompany this exhibition:

11 April at 2pm

Tour with the artists and art historian Marie-Claire TOUSSAINT

25 April at 6pm

Airs for the Seasons, by James Oswald, concert with the ensemble Les Menus-Plaisirs du Roy: €4

2 June at 6.30pm

Lecture by Pierre WAT, Doctor of Art History, Professor at the Sorbonne, specialist in Romanticism: €2

13 June at 6pm

John Constable’s birthday party: narrative walk and cake.
