Emmanuel Dundic 5 April - 6 May 2023

Multidisciplinary visual artist, Emmanuel Dundic cultivates difference, juggles with words and objects.
His installations are poetic. Space, objects and their semiological significance skilfully fit together to create a powerful artistic language.
Emmanuel Dundic studied painting at ESA Saint-Luc Liège.

Sometimes she writes. Anagrams, sentences, slogans, puns. She then imagines the staging of these writings. Then comes into play, the other part of the job: the plastic side of the thing.

Sometimes the distribution is reversed, that is to say that an aesthetic intuition leads to the writing, the story. The form of presentation varies according to the place and the theme addressed: object, edition, projection, distribution…
Stories of good taste and bad taste are of great interest to him.
She likes to work with so-called noble materials such as marble, gold, precious wood and, conversely, so-called poor, old-fashioned or old-fashioned materials such as lead, misplaced papers, puzzles.

For the April exhibition at the Détour Gallery, Emmanuel Dundic will present a series of book objects and puzzle objects.
