An exhibition produced by the Namur Photographic Archives
The people of Namur like to party! This is obvious during the Fêtes de Wallonie which bring together large crowds to revive the Walloon community and folk spirit. But other festivities
have in the past brought together the people of Namur. Many photographs bear witness to this in the exhibition organized by the Namur Photographic Archives. This photographic journey in
black and white reminds the inhabitants of Namur that their ancestors already lived to the rhythm of the holidays! And a selection of color photographs from the last twenty years reflect the festive atmosphere of
Wallonia. To see, without moderation!
Black and white photographs by Jacques Bouton, CINEAR – Paul Lombeau, Jean Côme, Pierre Dandoy, Adolphe Dupont and Emile Pierre. Color photographs by Christian Delwiche.
