The Namur Christmas Market is a popular event that transforms several squares in the city into a festive village.
Here is an overview of the activities you can find there:
The Christmas Market: The market stretches across Place d’Armes and Place de l’Ange. It consists of around a hundred wooden chalets where you will find a variety of handicrafts, Christmas decorations and gift ideas.
Food and drink: The gourmet section is a highlight of the market. You can sample a wide range of drinks (mulled wine, Christmas beers, pékèt) and dishes (raclette, tartiflette, crêpes, doughnuts, etc.).
The Toboggan Run: A toboggan run over 40 metres long is a very popular attraction, especially with children. It is located on the Place d’Armes and provides thrills in a Christmas atmosphere.
Santa’s Chalet: Father Christmas has his own home at the market, where he welcomes children for photos and to receive their letters.
