NAMUR IS A JOKE: 5TH EDITION
In 2026, the NIAJ festival will celebrate its 5th anniversary. Five years already during which Namur becomes, for a few days, the capital of laughter and discovery. Five years in which the public has eagerly joined, curious to discover new faces as well as reconnect with established artists.
But an anniversary is not a finish line. On the contrary: the NIAJ festival is only just beginning. From its inception, the festival was conceived as a living platform, a springboard for young comedians, an open door to the future of Belgian and Francophone humor. The 2025 edition reaffirmed this commitment: giving space to the new generation, to those who will make us laugh tomorrow, while continuing to bring together already indispensable names.
Laughter is universal, but it is constantly reinvented. It is this energy, this blend of boldness, freshness, and transmission, that makes NIAJ a unique event.
